So far this blog is mostly full up with these super small sketches that I made to fulfill my Sketch-a-day Challenge, but there’s a lot more to see here.
My goal has always been to show you a behind the lines look at the process of putting together my comic The Dawn Line.
This is a story that I started in the summer of 2014, and one that I worked on in Steve Rolston’s Introduction to Comic Book Production class.
At times, this blog will also offer a perspective on the theory and practice of making comic, but those posts are time consuming, and I am at my core a very lazy person.
There you have it: sketches, comics, and discourse. That’s The Drawn Line in a nutshell.
If you are into comics and want to tell me all about it, don’t be a stranger. You can comment on this page, tweet @drawn_line, email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or if you live in the Greater Vancouver Area, you can always try yelling really loudly. Whichever way you choose, I’d love to hear from you.
